Dalsouple rubber flooring lands at Melbourne Airport

When Madisson Architects specified Dalsouple natural rubber flooring in 3 different colour's to line the wall of the Espresso café at the international terminal at Melbourne airport, it was hard to imagine what it would look like.

Leeda Developments has done an expert job, cutting the rubber to fit the panels perfectly. The 3 different colour's were arranged vertically in varying widths across the entire curved walls. The colour's are Lilas, (purple), Marron Dam (brown) and Noir (black).

Dalsouple natural rubber flooring can be used for wall applications, as we can go down to 1.5mm thick, but 2.5mm minimum is recommended for flooring. Being a resilient floor covering, concave and convex curves provided no challenges for the material due to its inherent flexibility.

Annette Verihof who manages the café is pleased with the result. The rubber is able to take scrapes and bumps from luggage and is easy to clean

Dalsouple rubber flooring is available in standard 80 colour's and any pantone colour, and over 30 textures.
