TigerTurf ClayTurf International Tennis Federation Classification

To support the success of TigerTurf ClayTurf the surface has been added to the official International Tennis Federation (ITF) list of classified tennis court surfaces. The court pace rating is Category 3, medium.

Tennis is played on a variety of surfaces which can influence the style of play and quality of performance.

The ITF court pass classification programme has been developed to assist purchasers of tennis surface products to determine the type and speed of surface most suited to their requirement.

The introduction of TigerTuf ClayTurf, which has similar playing characteristics to natural clay, has proven popular with coaches and players.

ClayTurf's huge benefit is no watering, which in the current climate is essential, maintenance is low and all allows players to train and develop their game to enable them to compete on an international stage.
