Sandstone Cladding for Country Retreat from Craft Stone

Featured is an architecturally designed country retreat in the Daylesford Hills in Victoria. The Architect chose to use Craft Stone European Castle Stone "Golden Sand" as an alternative to expensive sandstone walling. By using Craft Stone lightweight stone cladding, the builder was able to avoid additional footings, by using a timber frame & fibre cement as a substrate.

Random, yet designed to fit together perfectly with no mortar joints, the European Castle Stone's neat and tidy appearance compliment both modern and traditional design. The Golden Sand colour replicates natural sandstone perfectly. Golden Sand is the perfect lightweight cladding alternative to using sandstone tiles.
