Pedestrian Safety Improved

Following a pedestrian fatality, injuries and several near misses in the busy town centre of Blenheim, the Marlborough District Council was keen to prevent further casualties.

The New Kendelier Series 4 Pedestrian set has proven to be the answer. With state-of-the-art European Pedestrian optics that reduce glare and create a spotlight effect on the person crossing the road, it meets the new national standards for pedestrian safety. The Marlborough District Council now has six of these sets in use, with more to be installed as the whole area is revamped.
