Galvanized Racking Systems from SpeedRack

SpeedRack recently installed a Galvanized Racking System into the Trade Link Morrisset warehouse on the NSW Central Coast. Trade Link had previously used conventional Powder coated Pallet Racking for their out side storage. While this had lasted several years, the elements had taken their toll on the system, and the Uprights and Beams were being slowly corroded and much of the Racking was covered in Rust.

As the Racking deteriorated, it was increasingly becoming unsafe, and had the potential to be unable to carry loads safely. It needed to be replaced. SpeedRack were called in to asses the situation and provide a solution to this on going problem.

Rather than Installing Powder Coated Racking again, which in turn would also Rust and need to be replaced again, SpeedRack Installed Hot Dipped Galvanized Racking. This new Racking system is more suited to the application, as it will not Rust, and therefore will last the test of time.

Although a little more expensive than the standard powder coated Racking, the Hot Dipped Galvanized Racking proves to be a much more cost effective solution as there is only an initial cost, maintenance or replacement of corroded parts are no longer needed.

Safety is also improved, as the Racking's Load Rating remain constant, and are not diminished by corrosion due to the weather. This allows forklift operators to safely load the system.
