Mechanically Polished Concrete Commercial Floors from Pro Grind

Beacon Lighting gets bright new look with Pro Grind floors
Beacon Lighting has begun installing Pro Grind mechanically polished concrete into its stores, delivering a brighter, more professional look that is already generating positive feedback from customers and staff.
"The new Pro Grind floors are easier to clean, don't scratch as easily and make the stores look fantastic. We have received heaps of positive feedback from customers about the new flooring, with customers even asking where they can get a quote for their home or business," said Bryan Findlay, National Facilities Manager for Beacon Lighting.
The contract with Pro Grind will see seven Beacon Lighting stores per year being fitted with their new highly durable, high gloss Pro Grind floors.
Beacon Lighting's existing flooring solution was an epoxy sealer, which scratched easily, was difficult to clean and took a long time to dry when it was first installed. The new Pro Grind MPC flooring solution reduces cleaning and maintenance costs and is instantly trafficable when installed, so there is no trade downturn for the store.
"We only used to do the walkways in the stores, but now with the Pro Grind MPC, we are doing the whole stores and they look incredible," continued Findlay.
Ben Vander Veen from Pro Grind said about the Beacon Lighting contract, "The high gloss Pro Grind floor in a lighting store looks phenomenal. It presents the lighting beautifully and makes the stores bright, clean and a very appealing selling environment. These Beacon Lighting stores are really a showcase for both Pro Grind and Beacon Lighting."
The Beacon Lighting team chose the Pro Grind flooring solution with the advantages of the unrivalled quality of the product, their national service capacity effective project management and successful track record in large retail stores.
"Each store takes approximately five days to install and the visual impact of the new floor is instant. The reflective quality of the new floor means that the stores and their lighting are presented at their very best," continued Vander Veen.
