Large Area Lighting Technology Video from Lunar Lighting

4,000W HMI Lunar light - glare free, large area lighting for public events, warehouse and industrial lighting, portable or tower light.

The 4,000W HMI Lunar Light is an ideal solution for internal lighting, where the light can be suspended. Warehousing, maintenance shutdowns and exhibitions are some of the applications.

The 4,000W HMI Lunar Light is a large area lighting technology that provides amazing lighting performance from compact portable tower. The 4000W Lunar light produces 400,000 Lumens output - a natural daylight-colour temperature which is glare free and provides a safer work environment. The light head can be suspended from cranes, machinery or in warehouse environments.

The 4000W HMI Lunar light is used across a broad range of applications. Its glare free characteristic is vitally important for safe, productive work environment. The light is daylight reproduction, a diffused, even light that creates much less shadowing and the light the fades gently.

Its ability to throw exceptional lighting natural power, in a glare free 360° or 180° configuration, either focused or diffused, make this light very popular.

  • Approx. 400,000 lumens output from a single HMI lamp; conventional lighting towers have approx. 100,000 lumens output with intense glare.
  • Outperforms 4 conventional towers of equivalent size.
  • The lighting tower is transported on a light, easily manoeuvred trailer. The telescopic mast rises 10m, and the power unit has four hydraulic stabiliser legs for setup on uneven terrain.
  • The light head is mounted where it needs to go - it fits into places that lighting towers cannot access, because of their size.
  • 360°and 180° capability - to protect neighbourhood amenity and privacy, the 4000W HMI Lunar light can be adjusted to focus light in a specific direction, as an alternative to its standard omni-directional capability. Changeover from one to the other takes minutes.
  • Duplicate natural daylight - the colour temperature is 6000° Kelvin while conventional lighting towers have a yellowish unnatural light (3200° Kelvin).
  • Low energy consumption - the 4,000W HMI Lunar light minimum power requirement is 6.9kW.
  • Over-engineered - like all Lunar Lighting products, the 4,000W HMI Lunar light is significantly over-rated for the job. The Honda GX620's function at approximately 60% of engine capacity on full load. On full load, the system produces sufficient ancillary power for other lights in the Lunar range to be attached.
