AcoustiSorb
"Unheard of" performance in Acoustic Insulation
THE SAFE ALTERNATIVE

High Performance Insulation
In striving to improve the performance of their densified polyester insulation, Tontine Fibres have developed AcoustiSorb, a specifically designed product for the lining and lagging of air conditioning duct systems. AcoustiSorb is lightweight and easy to use. Existing rigid duct liners cannot match its safety and performance.
As AcoustiSorb is made of polyester, which inherently does not absorb mouisutre and therefore will not break down like conventional duct linings, it will remain in a safe, stable condition, thus not contributing to sick building syndrome.

Tontine's manufacturing process ensure that AcoustiSorb polyester-basaed insulation will not flake or crack, and it is one of the most resilient materials available today.
AcoustiSorb complies with the Building Code of Australia AS 1668.1. Charcoal in colour (also availalbe in jet black), there is no need for black fibreglass scrim facing.

Itch-free insulation
No need for gloves, masks, protective clothing AcoustiSorb is a safe, itch-free user friendly insulation material, which means there is no need for special safety zones or specific OH&S procedures when working with the material.
AcoustiSorb contains no respirable fibres so there's no need to use gloves, masks or protective clothing to work with the product, saving valuable time and money. Like all Tontine's polyester insulation products, AcoustiSorb has been extensively tested by leading authorities in Australia to ensure that its acoustic, thermal, fire and safety ratings comply with industry standards.
