The Cul-de-sac system is used to gather moisture-laden air from the targeted area, and push it through the ducting to the Envirofan passive vent on the outside. However, a problem exists where there is not enough sub floor clearance to fit the Cul-de-sac system.

In 2018 Envirofan released the Ducted Quad Fan sub floor ventilation system. This was done by the extension of the Quad Fan system because of its reliability. It is the workhorse of the Envirofan family in that it is a low decibel ventilation system, low voltage, an effective ventilation system, and is the right size to replace a terra-cotta vent. These features did not come by accident as this was part of the design process.

The difference of the Quad Fan ducting system is that it is installed on the outside wall and the ducting extends six metres back into the problem area. The Ducted Quad Fan system draws the humidity through the duct to the Envirofan system to be expelled outside. If the problem area is further away then the Quad Fan Ducting System can be located along the external brick wall closer to the area to be ventilated.

The 150mm adaptor (spigot) is attached to the Ducted Quad Fan system to become one integral unit, and are available in Heritage, Brown and White grills.
