Allplastics fabrication team is pleased with the terrific result achieved in collaboration with Ceramic Façade Systems, whereby custom-made opal acrylic in "bricks" were machined and glued to diffuse the LED lights on a newly built apartment building. The Place project is a mixed-use development comprising of 91 residential dwellings and 7 retail lots above three levels of basement car parking. The Place project is located in the Sydney suburb of Ashfield in the inner west with an eclectic brand of historical buildings, lively eateries, and stunning urban art. However, opal acrylic achieved the desired effect for the lighting of the entrance wall of the building. The juxtaposition of the white LED with the gold nugget light attracted positive feedback from visitors, residence and observers.
