Acrylic Mirror Sheets Euromir® for Into the Blue Project by Allplastics![]()
Australian Interior Design Awards. Allplastics provided the coloured Anthracite Acrylic Euromir® sheets used by Designcraft for the Blue Mountains City Council. All the elements on the floor, the plinths and tall structures are cladded with Euromir® which reflects the video projections. In addition the floor is covered by Acrylic mirror. Into the Blue invites the viewer into the natural and cultural landscape at the greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area through immersive film and soundscapes.
Designed b Freeman Ryan Design which has a well established reputation for creating exhibitions and cultural experiences both in Australia and overseas, Into the Blue project was given a High Commendation in the 2013 Australian Interior Design Awards Installation Design category. Euromir® is a high quality European grade acrylic mirror. It is a unique design and display element for several applications. Available in a range of colours, with a tough durable back coating. Acrylic mirror is more economic, easier and safer to handle than glass for simpler and fast installation. The lightweight and reflective properties provide designers and architects with a wide scope for interior applications. Euromir® is an ideal material for applications and venues where glass mirror is not safe to use due to breakages or difficulty of handling.
