Exposed edges are a common vulnerability in graphic film installations, particularly in environments subject to moisture, cleaning regimes or prolonged use. Without adequate sealing, lifting and contamination can compromise both appearance and performance over time.

3M™ Edge Sealer 4150S is formulated to seal exposed edges of compatible graphic films, helping create a water- and contaminant-tight bond between the film and substrate. Applied after installation, it supports long-term adhesion by reducing the impact of environmental exposure and routine maintenance.

Supplied in 8 oz dauber cans with an integrated felt applicator, the sealer allows for controlled, precise application along film edges. It is recommended for use at application temperatures between 50°F and 100°F and should not be applied directly to painted surfaces. If required, the product can be removed using isopropyl alcohol or 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Citrus Cleaner.
