During the design phase, despite conducting an exhaustive search, Architects Bates Smart were unable to source a European styled stainless steel kitchen sink that was to the exact size specifications they required for Clarendon St Luxury Apartments. At this point, Britex Stainless Steel was engaged to co-design and fabricate an under mounted kitchen sink that incorporated the modern square lines associated with European stainless steel sink manufacturers, with rounded internal bowl corners to allow for ease of cleaning. The end result was the supply of more than 70 fully custom fabricated stainless steel sinks that are fitting of Australia's finest residential development that includes (until recently) the most expensive apartment ever sold in Australia ($18.2 million).
