Stainless Steel Public Amenities Melbourne from Britex![]() As an integral part of the plan to rejuvenate numerous metropolitan train station facilities, Britex was engaged to supplied numerous fixtures to the refurbishment of the west-end toilet block at Melbourne Central Station. Being one of the key station in the 'City Loop' network, Connex, along with their maintenance contractor Mainco, required products that were not only highly vandal resistant, water efficient and easy to maintain, but also aesthetically pleasing. One key point of reference in selecting the fixtures was the unique trap on the Centurion stainless steel toilet pan which is designed in a way that not only guarantees more efficient flushing, but is most importantly less prone to blockages. Britex Curveline muti-vanity stainless steel wash basins that are highly robust with a seamless construction, providing maximum hygiene and are easy to clean, were custom-made to suit the specific dimensions of each male and female washroom (6 and 5 bowl units respectively). Combined with the Sanistep stainless steel urinal and a 5-Star WELS rated Smart SaniFlush Sensor System, the new public bathroom is now far more resilient and water efficient than ever before.
