High Speed Insulated Doors from DMF International

High Speed Insulated Doors... they are not all the same!
The use of high speed insulated doors is increasing in the Australian market place. These types of doors offer a greater level of thermal and sound insulation than the standard high speed PVC doors, and are useful in high trafficked areas that require speed of operation to preserve the temperature.
However, not all of these types of doors offered on the market are the same. How is this you may ask?
When choosing a high speed insulated door, one must ask...
1. What is the thermal properties of the door in its entirety, and not just that of the door slat?
2. What design does the door utilise to prevent temperature conduction via the door slats?
3. Will the door be able to operate quietly?
4. Is the door counterweighted for emergency opening?

Some door models on the market have designs similar to a roller shutter door with a 10mm thick slat filled with PU foam, with no interslat thermal protection. This design may work in applications of low thermal differential, but for long term use and quietness of operation, they will be lacking in performance.
And so what can DMF offer?
DMF International Pty Ltd are Australian manufacturers and suppliers of specialised high speed PVC roll doors that will offer solutions to many applications. In addition as the exclusive Australian agent for the premium German supplier of doors, Efaflex Gmbh, DMF can supply a variety of high speed insulated doors, that will exceed the thermal properties and performance of other doors on the market.
With Efaflex, being first manufacturer worldwide of high speed insulated doors, DMF can offer thermally separated EFA-THERM® insulation laths for the EFA-SST® as a standard. These range from 40mm to 100mm thick and, depending on the size of the door, an excellent temperature insulation of between 0.66 and 1.52 W/m2K can be achieved. The door leaf is exceptionally robust, tight and sound insulating, and noise of operation is greatly reduce by the door panel rolling into a spiral design.
We have partners Australia wide who are all trained in our product, and so contact DMF today for an assessment for your application, by emailing, phone 1800 281170 or website www.dmf.com.au.
