Brio launches new Weatherfold 5c

Brio Weatherfold 5c has been updated to operate on exterior, bottom-rolling bifold panels up to 80kg with Brio's new 286 Dual Point Lock.

Bottom-rolling systems eliminate the need for a reinforced structural beam above the opening, as all panel weight is carried by bottom rollers. This function is particularly favoured by architects, as the absence of the restricting top beam also means there is more room for design creativity.

Brio Weatherfold 5c is designed to handle timber and aluminium panels with precision and ease thanks to the impressive puck design which is concealed in the new, low profile sill. The sill is available in 2 designs for either a traditional timber tread or an ultra-modern, square design. Both sills can house Brio's 612 Insect Screen.

This innovative system also has built in cleaning which prevents silt build up, the number 1 cause for bottom rolling systems to seize.

Openings up to 3.3m high and 16m wide can be achieved with up to 8 equal size panels folding seamlessly in each direction.
