The high-speed Efaflex door... the roller shutter door for the new era!

The Efaflex high-speed spiral carpark door is a very fast, very secure door model, with easy integration with parking or building management access systems. A recent project completed by DMF required a door model to suit a low headroom design for the main parking access of a new high rise residential building in the Sydney CBD. The challenges were not only in the location of the high-speed door, but the installation process had access and dimensional complexities. These challenges were overcome well by the DMF team, with a great result for the main contractor and client.

The Efaflex high-speed door has been engineered to offer a space-saving low lintel construction design, down to headroom of only 300mm, and is ideal for office blocks plus residential, commercial, or government parking areas. With a modern design, and fast operating speeds of 2 metres/second, the Efaflex door also comes with a high wind load capacity and can perform many hundreds of operations per day. The single or double walled extruded aluminium door blade is available in a full range of powdercoat RAL colours, but can also be a combination of acrylic see through glass or a ventilated design while still maintaining security. A full length light curtain safety sensor ensures very safe operation, and the Efatronic controller has the ability to integrate with many forms of access control.
