Fire Retardant MDF Panels for Commercial Use by Keystone Linings A major redevelopment at St Joseph's College Hunters Hill introduced a new aquatic and leisure centre designed to support modern sporting and student facilities. Designed by TKD Architects and constructed by FDC Construction & Fitout, the three-storey complex includes a cardio and weights room, spectator balcony, change facilities, offices and physiotherapy spaces within a purpose-built sporting environment. Within the fitness areas, an acoustic perforated timber ceiling was specified using Key Eclipse panels from Keystone Linings. Manufactured with a fire-retardant MDF core, the system delivers both durability and acoustic performance while contributing to the warm architectural finish of the space. The ceiling design helps visually connect interior zones with surrounding architectural elements while supporting sound control in active training areas. Key Eclipse panels are designed for a wide range of commercial interior applications including auditoriums, education facilities, hospitals, offices and public spaces where performance and aesthetics must work together.
