THERMOMASS insulated precast concrete sandwich panels are similar in appearance to solid precast concrete panels. The difference is hidden inside. THERMOMASS sandwich panels are comprised of three layers: an outer layer of concrete, a layer of XPS (extruded polystyrene) insulation and an internal layer of concrete. All three layers are held together using our patented fibre composite connectors. These connectors are vastly superior to steel rods used in other sandwich wall panels. They are non-corrosive and possess low thermal conductivity eliminating "thermal bridging".
