HES Winches Australia now stock a range of Planetary Hydraulic Capstans for line hauling with DP capacities from 1500lb (680kg) to 6000lb (2720kg) and line speed to 70/m/min.

Drives with continuous duty brake and planetary gear design teamed with low speed high torque motor to deliver efficient reliable operation. DP Capstan Heads are sized from 5.38" to 7.00" diameter in steel and aluminium (for non metallic ropes).

To complement the range, HES Winches Australia design AC Electric, Hydraulic and Pneumatic drive Capstan units with heads manufactured form CI, steel and aluminium in diameters from 100 to 350mm and to customer specific performance requirements.
