Diagonally opposite the Melbourne Town Hall, this building is owned by several indivuals and companies, most of whom are also tenants.

It was recognized that with electricity costs rising and incoming heat being an issue, that a solution had to be found.

That solution was the application of 900 square metres of Silver AG 25 film from SolarGard Australia.

This film stops 77% of incoming heat but also abour one third of outgoing heat.

When the installation was done the R.O.I. was a lttle under two years. Now, 3 years later it would be a touch over two years.

In addition, the outside of the building now looks uniform, giving it a much more modern look.

Prior to this, through some windows one could see closed blinds, others blinds on an angle (probably because they're broken) and others fully rolled up. This situation is now hidden from the street by the film.
