EJ has won praise and an Innovation Award for its ingenious range of InfraRiser® rings. Made in the US, they are a simple, economical and long-lasting solution to municipal casting bedding problems.

When road surfacing crews raise services such as manhole covers, stormwater grates and sewer covers, the traditional solution has been to use iron and concrete risers to achieve the road height. This is a very laborious and back-breaking process.

Concrete risers weigh 40 and 60kgs for 35mm and 50mm heights respectively. For the same height increases, the Infra-Riser® weighs in at just 15 and 20kgs respectively.

Made from 100% recycled raw materials - reconstituted old tyres, actually - the Infra-Riser® provides the necessary elasticity between the casting and the bedding. These two elements work together rather than against each other so shocks and vibrations are optimally absorbed.
