Brio's Weatherfold 4s folding hardware made an adventurous curved door project a reality for an innovative wedding venue in Devon, UK. This commercial property, operated by Devon Beach Weddings, can cater for 160 guests and is set on the beautiful, coastal landscape of Tunnels Beaches (a network of hand carved tunnels leading to sheltered coves).

Weatherfold 4s was chosen for its resistance to corrosive environments as well as its smooth and easy operation.

Standard bi-folding doors are locked top and bottom which requires reaching up and bending down to operate them. To reduce time and effort when opening up the venue to its breathtaking views, the project utilised Brio's new 286 Dual Point Lock which unlocks the top and bottom with a single action.

This hardware upgrade not only improves functionality but also aesthetics as doors use a reduced amount of visible hardware.
