Fire Protection for Wall Joints by FIREFLY

FIREFLY™ Penowrap®.

One of the critical requirements commonly overlooked during construction is fire protection for wall joints. It's a must to get reports for the Fire Resistance Level of columns,m structural beams, floor ceilings, floors, and walls. However, the gaps, junctions, and connectors for these are not usually included in the FRL report.

For complete fire protection, get the FIREFLY™ Penowrap®. This product has been tested to protect the steel or aluminium connector gaps and plates at junctions between Cross Laminated walls and floors, Glulam Laminated Timber Columns and Beams, and Laminated Veneer Lumber Beams and Columns.

Fire resistance level offered by the FIREFLY™ Penowrap® is up to FRL120/-/-. To meet NCC compliance requirements, you may request a copy of the CSIRO Report No: Short Form FCO-3446 from FIREFLY.
