Plantation Shutters for Canberra Apartment Complex by Rollashield

Beautiful "Space 2" an impressive apartment complex in Canberra, has approved the installation of plantation shutters by Sydney company Rollashield Shutters. Residents wanting to upgrade their outdoor area can enclose the balcony with the plantation shutter panels to provide a lovely outdoor area with the flexibility to capture the warm sun or screen for privacy.

Prior to approval, a great deal of background work was done by the Space 2 executive committee members together with Rod Barnes, Managing Director of Rollashield Shutters. The plantation shutters needed to be strong and durable to withstand the wind and cold of Canberra's winter months and also be an attractive addition to the building. Precious Silver Pearl powdercoat colour was chosen to make the plantation shutters blend beautifully with the existing building. Using plantation shutters made from powder coated aluminium not timber ensures ongoing maintenance is kept to a minimum a very important consideration for the residents.

Plantation shutters can be installed in a number of ways including sliding, bifold, fixed and hinged and are designed to suit the particular site. Each panel is made to measure to achieve the desired result.
