It is perhaps not surprising that the owners of this mud brick house in inner city Melbourne commissioned Hamish Knox and Associates to incorporate a Green Roof as part of an extensive renovation project. The house, which is heritage listed, gained a second story extension as part of this project and a Green Roof over the existing residence. The beauty of this project is that the Green Roof serves a number of functions -
1) It provides thermal benefits for the existing, 1st story home KHD supplied VersiJack in a box gutter to support the Versicell growing medium.
