Most warehouse applications use a vinyl high speed roll door to offer the climate protection during high frequency use, and then a standard roller shutter door for security. The Efaflex SST door, can provide both functions, negating the need for two separate doors.

There are enhancements that be included with this high speed door, such as;

• An in-column TLG light curtain, which prevents the door from closing if anything is within the opening. This is not a single beam, but a full light curtain, synchronised with the door action, which is a necessity for this type of rapid action door.
• Solid panels are all clear using a tough acrylic glass.
• Many forms of activation.
• Option of an "active crash system" allowing the bottom of the door to be impacted, and then automatically realigning back into operation. This is ideal for heavy trafficked openings, such as warehouses, but does reduce the security feature.
