In April this year, Lendlease's Engineering business received the 2016 Project of the Year Award from Infrastructure Partnerships Australia for Sydney's newest harbour foreshore park, Barangaroo Reserve.

The six-hectare park was de-constructed and re-constructed on behalf of the Barangaroo Delivery Authority, and involved the recreation of a naturalistic headland designed to mimic the pre-1836 shoreline on the western edge of Sydney's Central Business District.

And digging in for its share of the action, EJ has been a significant supplier of grates and access covers throughout the new Reserve. A stroll along the pathways reveals the galvanized aluminium grates discreetly dotted throughout the landscaping and rolling lawns.

Interspersed throughout other areas of the parklands, cast iron frames and covers provide access to a variety of utilities. EJ has made an important contribution to the infrastructure of what will no doubt become another icon headlining the shores of Sydney's famous Harbour.
