Cantilevered Staircase with Electroplated Balusters by S&A Stairs Simple yet stunning, that's one of the ways to describe the masterful works of S&A Stairs, a leader in the staircase industry. Slattery and Acquroff's project on Henderson Street is a cantilevered staircase with electroplated balusters. It truly shows what this Australian company is all about, amazing craftsmanship and manufacturing capabilities. The staircase almost seems as if it is floating as only one side of the treads is fixed onto the wall. It features 114mm Victorian Ash treads. The dropdown handrail and feature landing are also made with Victorian ash while the stringers are made out of mild steel. The balustrade is electroplated and features a brass steel finish. But it looks almost as if it is wood, complementing perfectly the Victorian Ash details of the rest of the staircase. With more than 100 years of crafting stairs, S&A Stairs remains true to consistency, style, and quality.
