Directional Airflow Panel by Tate If you have trouble keeping equipment cool in your data centre, consider using the directional airflow panel from Tate. The all-aluminium DirectAire® AL is a lightweight panel that angles air toward equipment using a patent-pending technology. Airflow that is delivered through the panel enters the server rack's face, which can provide an increased cooling capacity as well as improved energy efficiency. The panel has a die-cast aluminium construction and has a 1,500-lb design load performance. The surface of the panel is adjustable and there are also automatic damper options. It might seem like the DirectAire® AL is just a regular panel with a traditional grate construction. However. the design is well thought out and has a 60% open area that can deliver 2,775 CFM at 0.10" H2O.
