The aluminium hatch from EJ has always been up there for safety, security and easy access. But now it comes in an attractive package that can be fabricated to match the paved surrounding pedestrian way.

This access cover has always featured a practical and easily operated recessed handle. They also feature stainless steel hinges for longer life and stainless steel slam lock plugs.

For absolute ease of opening, the cover's stainless steel lift-spring makes it a one-man operation and eliminates potential back-strain in operators. Neatly engineered into the cover's perimeter is a recessed pad-lock locker with its own clip down cover.

Importantly, this superbly manufactured hatch features an optional built-in SAFE HATCH® grate system to prevent accidental falls into the opening. It sits perfectly recessed underneath the cover so when the hatch lid is opened, access can only be made to the pit once the safety grate has also been opened.

Engineered for use in pedestrian and unintended vehicular traffic, this hatch is now the complete package with its new generation feature ready for paver infilling.
