High Speed Vermin Proof Door for Sanitarium Factory

Sanitarium, based in Berkeley Vale NSW, came to DMF requiring a new solution for a high end vermin proof door, that could tolerate high frequency of use, high imosing wind forces, and yet have a speed that maximises their operations.

DMF provided the solution using the Efaflex STT door model, with opening speeds of up to 3m/sec.

This door is constructed using a acrylic glass door panel, separated by strong aluminium bars. This might sound like a noisy solution, but the door panel is guided through a spiral track design, meaning the doors not only does not roll onto itself, but provides a fast and quiet operation. The sealing of this panel into the columns is achieved by a tight rubber seal, from top to bottom, and full rubber seal along the floor as well.

DMF have since installed a number of these doors for this client, with well proved results.
