DMF recently completed a project installing some additional rapid roll doors for a Sydney waste facility tipping area. A few door units of Series RL3000E Rapid Roll doors were installed 2 years ago and have performed well under harsh and dirty conditions. These were installed for the purpose of controlling the waste odours, as required as per the client's licensing with the EPA. To expand their operation's capacity, they decided to install extra doors and came straight to DMF.

The Series RL3000E rapid door is manufactured in DMF's Sydney-based factory, and this model provides a durable design suited for the stringent and harsh environments of waste and recycling plants, where wind, dust, and corrosive elements need to be controlled. The doors open automatically at a design speed of 1m/sec, as the tipping truck approaches to tip the domestic waste, and then close automatically to contain the odours. Multiple safety sensors protect the door and users from damage, and it is important in applications like this, that preventative servicing is maintained to ensure optimal function of the doors. DMF can provide this as well and can supply the standard and custom components very quickly, being the local manufacturer.
