Grinder Pumps

Grinder pumps utilize a grinding mechanism at the inlet with a hardened stainless steel rotating cutting blade, inside a cutting ring with several teeth. This robust mechanism disintegrates all solids into fine particles.

Behind the shredding apparatus is a high head vortex impeller which enables the pumps to pump long distances.

Grinder pumps tend to be more reliable and durable at handling some of the tougher materials found in public sewage systems in comparison to cutter pumps. Ideal for higher head applications and suitable for commercial applications.
