New External range from Industry innovator

When Blinds by Peter Meyer does something new in the blind industry, two things happen. Firstly their customers are happy because they know that this industry innovator will have a product they can work with and sell with confidence and their opposition look to see what they can copy.

"It's been that way for the last twenty years" said founder and managing director Peter Meyer. We supply the people in the industry who appreciate quality and service and, quite frankly, the rest can please themselves.

The new Solare Teknica range which we have just launched comprises 4 innovative Straight drop awnings suitable for windows or veranda screens and two folding arm awnings that are versatile enough to cover 16 metres in one run.

We have used predominantly stainless steel components and we are welding all our own skins with our new Triad Welder. We have taken our time learning about external blinds. Researching components so that we can be confident in what we supply. We also spent some time researching the best way to make skins and we have decided that sewing is not the way to go. We have eliminated stitch holes with our welding technology, so not only do we produce the skins in house now, we control a number of elements with our welding technology.

Peter Meyer has now been selling exterior products for three years and have a number of major projects to their credit already including Sydney Tennis Centre, Merewether Beach House, South Sydney Juniors café in ........, Athenian Restaurant in the city plus numerous major domestic projects around Sydney. The major difference with the Solare Teknika range is that it is purely an in house wholesale range.

Our intention is to continue to sell the ranges we have been for the past three years. They have served our clients well and we understand the quality of what we offer, but the major hole in our range has been the ability to supply our major wholesale clients with a range they could sell. To achieve this we have had to bring the manufacturing process of the Teknica range in house.

Peter admitted that the company had invested heavily in production technology to allow us to offer the best possible quality. As usual, our products will be quality focused and good value.
