Service Improves with a New Warehouse in China from SI Retail

In 2006, shop fitting supplier SI Retail established its own operation in China to provide services in sourcing, manufacturing and shipping under the SI Direct banner, in order to ensure that the supply chain for their customers was fully controlled from beginning to end.

More recently, SI Retail's operation in China moved to Shanghai, where a fully bonded warehouse will be constructed and is scheduled for completion mid-2013. This move will enable SI Retail to hold more stock on site for their customers, and will also result in more efficient shipments due to the warehouse's centralised location.

There will also be a greater ability for product consolidation in China to reduce costs and achieve quicker installation once the products reach the customer's warehouse or stores.
