EJ Believes in Collaborating with Clients to Solve Specific Problems

What do they say? Try it before you buy it? This must have been in the back of the minds of Telstra engineers when they were offered trial installations of this new EJ French manufactured cover, absolutely ideal for telecommunications underground infrastructure around the world and now in Australia.

In a collaborative move, EJ and Telstra are trialing this new ductile cast iron system with its multi-leaf access covers, with a view to further installations in key applications on their sensitive Australian network. This installation - part of an upgrade to replace chequer plate covers - is being tested on the busy Montague Road and Victoria Street intersection in Brisbane’s near-city West End. With a proliferation of transports, delivery vehicles and removalists frequenting the area, it was imperative to insure against cover damage and potential infrastructure calamities.

The ductile cast iron cover itself is of quality construction from the EJ Picardie Foundry in France and is generally in storage here in Australia at EJ headquarters in Brisbane or in other state holding yards, hence quick delivery is commonplace.

Such collaborations to trial products are encouraged by the EJ team who have a staunch dedication to problem solving especially in specific, irregular and challenging applications. To contact a team member in your area, check the website.
