Cavity Sliders for Retirement Villages from CS Cavity Sliders

CS Cavity Sliders worked with Halcyon Days, supplying cavity sliders for their retirement villages in three different areas located throughout Queensland. For this particular project, SpaceMaker and MidWay cavity sliders were specified to meet the need for a non-standard solution.

Foremost, the chosen solutions were to assist in supporting sheer loads of up to 50kg per square metre. This was achieved via a structural ply that was used in the wet area cavity pockets that could stay upright while the weight of the Villaboard and the tiles are added. Secondly, the cavity sliders were to support the energy targets of Halycon, particularly when dividing the house from the garage. The use of a triple-brush seal along the base of the doors combined with Schelgels Mo-Hair and fin sealed products around the split jambs, head jambs, and closing jambs helped Halcyon attain their ideal energy-star ratings.
