Unison Joints manufacture all expansion joint systems in Australia. The high-movement fire sealing barriers are compatible with Unison water seal and mechanical expansion joint covers.

Unison offer 2 fireseal systems, Pyrotx I intumescent strip for gap widths 20mm to 150mm. And for larger (seismic) gap-widths, Pyrotx B fire blanket for installation gaps up to 350mm. There are FRLs of 2 and 4 hours available.

Both systems are made in Australia, and NATA lab tested compliant with AS/NZ1530.4, AS4072.1, as well as BS476.2. For statutory regulations in Queensland, Unison Constructions holds a QBCC license to certify (Form 16) the installed UJ Pyro fire rated systems.
