Magnetic has recently a vehicle barrier for a park and ride facility in France. Located in the City of Thionville, the Park & Ride Thionville-Metzange was inaugurated on the 13th of July, 2022. It is the very first cross-border project in Europe, which addresses the traffic on the A31 going towards Luxembourg.

The old, temporary park-and-ride facility in the Kinepolis movie theatre had limited parking spaces, thus a new one was constructed. The Park & Ride Thionville-Metzange provides efficient access to vehicles by providing dedicated lanes for not just cars but also motorcycles and bicycles.

The new park and ride facility also had 4 Access Pro Barriers from Magnetic. This model has a width of up to 3.5m and a 1.3-second minimum opening and closing times, which can be adjusted to a longer period.
