EJ Access Covers & Grates Stocked in South Africa

EJ LOCALLY STOCKED IN SOUTH AFRICA

After successfully launching in South Africa 18 months ago, EJ has sent some 60 tonnes of product into Durban to create a true local stock holding. "Sea freight to South Africa takes too long for us to be responsive to our customer's requirements." said Ang Curcuruto, EJ Australia's Logistics Manager. "The local stock holding allows us to live up to our name of having stock ready to be used." he said.

Working locally in South Africa with Evercast, Everhard International's manhole cover division; EJ Australia will introduce many new designs, including Norinco products to the South African civil engineers.

EJ Australia's full range of galvanised mild steel drainage grates are also stocked in the Durban warehouse and this allowed Evercast to win a new order within one week of the containers arriving.

After supplying Africa's newest airport, King Shaka (Durban) International, EJ plans to grow it's specification and sales into major civil projects within South Africa, Botswanna and Namibia.
