The seamless harmony of federation style Architecture and Bluestone is on display in this residential home.

The owners of this property sought to maintain the period style of this home yet wanted to create a contemporary outdoor entertaining space. Steve Taylor of Creative Outdoor Solutions (www.creativeoutdoorsolutions) answered this brief with a mixture of new technologies such as Outdoor TV's and sound systems as well as beautiful Bluestone and a mixture of traditional style plants.

The Bluestone for this project which was supplied by KHD Landscape Engineering Solutions, was quarried in Victoria and is the highest grade natural stone. It was custom cut to order to ensure that the result was meticulous. For example, the special 80mm rick pool coping and the fireplace hearth and mantle were custom made to the millimetre precision.

Stone has the capacity to last many generations, and it can be easily incorporated into garden features, high traffic paved areas, feature walling and building stone.
