Vt C is part of Unison Joints' Vertos product series, an array of joint system solutions for various architectural applications that also include wall-to-ceiling expansion joints. An advanced and highly innovative control joints system, Vt C has high movement capability and is designed to provide buildings and structures with a solid buffer and flexibility against any seismic activity as well as thermal contraction and expansion. Vt C Expansion Joint System: Composition, Features, and Applications Unison Joints' ceiling expansion joint system is 4.8 metres in length, and is made up of combined elements of extruded-aluminium retainers and extruded thermoplastic cover. Colour options are available for the thermoplastic cover. Both applicable for indoor and outdoor applications, the Vt C expansion joint system is also integrable with most types of ceiling finishes, and can be modified and repurposed as a ceiling-to-wall (VtCW) application. The system is UV-stable and supports a multidirectional movement. Due to the thermoplastic component of the joint expansion system, the high-performance Santoprene is the ideal primary seal.
