High Impact-resistant Traffic Doors from DMF International

High trafficked door openings often require easy thoroughfare and hands free operation, designed to ensure the doors are easily closed to protect the working environment. The DMF Traffic doors are an ideal solution for this scenario as they also provide insulation, two way swing action, and automatically close from either direction. Being a two way swing operation means the users only need to gently push through from either side of the doorway, with the doors having a gentle resistance to allow this.

DMF have supplied these doors to many Australia supermarkets, including Woolworths, Coles, TK Maxx, and these traffic doors have also been exported to countries such as NZ, Fiji, India, UAE, and the Philippines for use in commercial kitchens, hypermarkets, hotels, and food production & packaging facilities.

One of DMF's major clients for this product in Australia is Woolworths, with impact doors required for between the selling floor to the stock room area - which are highly trafficked y doorways. Safety is very important for the use of these doors, and therefore safety yellow impact teardrop bumpers are employed on the stock side, and safety markings on the window surrounds utilised to better alert the users of approaching traffic on the rear side of the doorway.

The DMF Traffic doors are custom manufactured to size, and come complete with double-glazed clear polycarbonate windows plus high impact resistant PE "teardrop" bumpers that are designed to cushion the impact of trolleys, pallet jacks, and even forklifts. The door blade is 42mm in thickness, and is constructed with a tough ABS surface and high density poly insulate core, which results in not only good temperature control but also sound control from one side to the other. The return spring system is completely concealed within the vertical stile section and comes with adjustable torque control for regulating opening and closing force.

There are other options of DMF Traffic doors which include Vcam return hinges, stainless steel door blades, and even venetian blinds contained within the double glaze windows - commonly used for hospital treating rooms. More information can be found at dmf.com.au.
