In early 2022, a series of floods hit southeast Queensland and coastal New South Wales. Media reports estimate upwards of $2.5 billion in damages related to the floods. Businesses and residents impacted are still trying to rebuild.

EJ is committed to improving access solutions in these regions to advance flood mitigation technology and reduce flood damage. These innovative STORMSURGE castings are designed to allow the cover to 'pop' open under extreme stormwater pressure whilst keeping the cover secure in its frame. Once the pressure subsides, the cover rests back in its original closed position.

With another La Nina event forecasted for 2023, EJ is committed to developing innovative products that improve stormwater management and mitigate the damages of flooding.
