Whether you require temperature maintenance or vessels or need freeze prevention on your pipes and valves, you can use the self-regulating trace heaters offered by Bellis. Eltherm's ELSR trace heater consists of two parallel bus wires which are embedded in a heating matrix that is dopped with carbon particles.

During operation and the temperature rises, the distance between carbon particles increases due to molecular expansion. Resistance then increases while the output drops. Meanwhile, when the temperature falls, the opposite happens and output increases. Thanks to this physical property, the trace heater will not overheat and can even be used without a temperature limiter.

Not only can you immerse the ELSR in fluids but they can even be used in hazardous areas. The trace heater (BOT design) has a special, chemically resistant outer jacket made out of fluoropolymer that makes it ideal for use in aggressive environments, such as the petrochemical or chemical industry.

There are many other benefits to using the self-regulating trace heater. This includes being easy to install and that it can also be cut to length. To learn more about the Eltherm self-regulating trace heaters from Bellis, just head to bellis.com.au.
