Parquet in Herringbone & Chevron from Renaissance Parquet

chevron parquet floor

Herringbone, or as it is known in France, Vaton Rompu, and Chevron, which is also known as Point de Hongrie, are the most common parquet patterns in Europe. The Herringbone has the advantage of broken lines when it is installed, whereas the Chevron gives very clean and defined directional lines when installed.

Herringbone is available in a variety of lengths and widths, a common size is 450x90x21mm, however we can produce up to any size up to 1200x130x 22mm. Herringbone can be made with Bevels, brushing, scrapping and finishing or supplied raw. Chevron can be cut at any angle from 30 to 45 degrees, with the most common angle being 35 degrees. The block sizes start from 450x90mm and go up to a size of 1200x130mm. Chevron can be made with Bevels, brushing, scrapping and finishing or supplied raw.
