For the renovation of the popular Andrea Biani shoestore at the Colombo Mall they chose Karndean Designflooring's new Burnt Ginger LooseLay product. With no need for adhesive the floor went down quickly and was ready to walk on immediately, which meant there was no wait to get the merchandise and shop fittings in. It is still as easy to maintain as every other Karndean product with the added benefit that it can be almost instantly repaired should a plank be damaged.

The installation of LooseLay not only reduced the downtime in the store but due to its acoustic properties is quieter, making for a more pleasant shopping experience. To give the illusion of extra space and draw the eye across the store, the planks were laid at an angle, an easy look to achieve with any of the Karndean Designflooring range.

The new range of LooseLay comes in six designs and a 10 year commercial wear guarantee. The technology used to make this product is unique to Karndean and is fully recyclable or re-useable. It can easily be used for temporary renovations and installations then moved to other sites once a more permanent solution is decided upon.
