Mytec Chain Operated Roller Blind in Eclipse Tower from TOSO

TOSO Mytec chain operated roller blind is now being installed in the Eclipse Tower at Parramatta.

TOSO Australia is pleased to announce that its Mytec chain operated roller blind is currently being installed throughout the 19 level Eclipse Tower, with major tenants such as Deloitte's, QBE, Servcorp and Landcom.

Rather than using a low priced basic roller blind system, which is common in most commercial developments, and in some ways is just a short term saving in the initial fit-out cost, instead this premium Japanese designed roller blind system with longer guarantee, stainless steel chain, faster gearing and lighter in operation is being installed to match the overall quality of fit-out for this building.

With over 20 years' experience in manufacturing, Helioscreen who offer a comprehensive range of adjustable external and internal blinds and awnings, with the central element being the extensive variety of Intelligent Sun Control Solutions on offer, have rebranded the system as Silkrise 42 and used their Absolute Screen Platinum fabric to complement the system.

Absolute Screen Platinum is an environmentally friendly polyester fabric with a subtly striped texture, offers enhanced glare control whilst maintaining a view to the outside, and features a metallised backing for extra heat and light reflection.

Eclipse Tower is an iconic and uniquely designed landmark building in Parramatta which is the demographic heart of Sydney.

The design solution for the site has resulted in a simple geometric form generated from a pure half ellipse which, by its very shape, simultaneously allows a widening towards the northern end of the floor plate to capture key views and light and draw them into the floor plate and contraction towards the southern end where the core tucks neatly and efficiently into the curvature of the ellipse.

This results in a highly efficient floor plate set in a modern side core configuration, which provides tenants with complete flexibility in the use of space.
