Here's a brief guide on how to specify custom barrier doors from Cowdroy:

1. Choose your ideal barrier door style - Cowdroy offers six bespoke barrier door styles: Superior, Birchgrove, Federation, Paddington, Harrington, and Balmain. All barrier doors are made with a heavy-duty extruded aluminium frame and come with a double-cylinder lock with deadlocking function.
2. Choose your preferred colour combination - Specify the colour you want for the door and handle, plus an optional colour for the door closer. Select from 21 standard powder coat colours from Cowdroy.
3. Measure your door opening - Using the diagram below, get the exact measurements of your door and record your details. Measurements may also be entered directly into Cowdroy's order form.

4. Inspect your current lock/handle - Check the space between your existing door lock and the outside face of your jamb. The gap required to ensure your new barrier door fits must be at least 20mm.
5. Choose your handle side - From the outside looking in. It is usually the same side as your existing door.
6. Determine your handle height - Decide how high you would like your door handle. It is important to ensure that the handle of your new barrier door will not collide with your existing door handle when closed.
